Catching Waves in Crown & Ivy

on

I am excited to be sharing Belk’s newest collection called Crown & Ivy. Created and developed here in the south, the collection embodies the modern, southern woman. With a mix of shorts, pants, tees, button downs, dresses and cardigans, there are pieces from the collection that everyone can love. Taking on the theme #ModernTwist I have chosen three modern Crown & Ivy looks to photograph at some traditional southern locations.

For my first look, the Isle of Palms is a hidden gem of the Carolinas and a perfect backdrop for the Cool Waves Stripe Flared Knit Dress. Although the design is classic, the contrasting stripes provide interest and edge. On a windy, Sunday morning, I threw on my dress grabbed my new French Connection Tamara holographic sandals (purchased at Belk, of course) and headed for the shore line. As I got closer to the water, the wind gusts begin to blow and I felt relaxed, carefree and beautiful in my new look.
