The Journey to Spring Part 13: Sending the Samples

DelMoniCole Clothing

Last week
in our Journey to Spring Series, designer Tarsha Williams gave great advice on how to choose the right production company to manufacture your clothing line. This week, we are going to explore tips on ensuring that the production company executes your designs properly. Tarsha explains,

“It can be a great relief once you find the production company you want and to start the process of getting your pieces made in production. However, there is still the chance that your clothing will not come out as expected. What I do to help ease my anxiety is have the production company make up a prototype of each of the pieces. This allows you the ability to see if the items are produced the way that you want. If there needs to be any changes, you could make them at that point instead of waiting until after your bulk order is complete. This helps cut down on time and money.”
