It is my pleasure to be on My Style Daily today!
With Thanksgiving only being a week away, many of us will be shifting gears and will start thinking about our holiday decorating…if we haven’t already!
I would like to share with you 10 easy ways to make your holiday sparkle!
1 Set up a cozy, yet glam place to enjoy your fireplace. Comfort is key. Warm blankets, faux fur throws, and stylish pillows in sequins or metallic sheens will make this a place you will enjoy. Add a magazine rack stocked with your favorite reads for a quite winter’s night. Put a pedestal table between seating and have a place to have a holiday treat.
3 Ornament trees are easy to make with a foam cone and ball ornaments of all different sizes and finishes like glitter, matte, mirrored, and glass. All you need is a glue gun.
4 Ornaments are not just for the tree. Frame them and they become a piece of art.
5 Paint or glitter some pinecones to display in a footed bowl, hurricane, or decorative plate.
6 Set up a cocoa station so you are always ready when a chocolate craving comes on.
7 Use wine glasses of all different heights to display holiday offerings, like fake snow, strings of beads, and pinecones.
8 Instead of an angel or star make your own tree topper with your favorite ribbon. A bow with glittered ribbon is dazzling.
9 Display a grouping of ornaments in a shallow bowl or tray.
10 Frame a Christmas carol to display on a bookshelf or table top.
Just remember when decorating your holiday space, it’s about creating a place to enjoy. Have fun and let your own personality come out. Happy Holidays!
