Have Your Shoes Custom Made

When I looked through the creations from Boston based Acid Tounged Angel, I knew I had to share these interesting and unique shoes with my readers. The designer uses very unique materials such as nails, screws ,chains, pearls, sea glass, gold flecks and even sea shells to make one of a kind creations that are pieces of wearable art. Take my favorite shoe from her site. It’s called “Cinderella’s Revenge.” The name of the shoe captures the essence of what the show is all about.

Then we have the “Can’t Hold Us Down” Pump. This shoe is definitely a conservation starter and I could see myself wearing this with jeans and dresses.

The “Acid Gets Trashed” shoe is a great shoe for making a statement when going out on a date or with friends.

The most conservative (but still fun), shoe in the group is the “Spiked Flats.” The spikes add the edge that make this stand out from the crowd.

To have your very own custom shoe created, you can fill out this form on their website. They then start sketching the shoe, looking/sourcing materials, and then craft a final design. It then takes about 2-3 weeks for the shoe to be created (They send pictures along the way), and then you have your very own custom heel! The client has 100% say in what is going on, but the designer will make suggestions along the way. How fun is that! Prices range from $40-$500.

I have submitted my order or a pair of flats and am excited to see how it turns out!
